Janet Rutkowski along with her husband Walter Kenul are the design team of B.F.D. Firehouse Studios in NYC. Their work had been shown throughout the N.Y. area and they have been in many newspaper and magazine articles. The" Oracle" chair has been featured in the catalogue of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC. Their motorcycle inspired furniture was shownin the window of Saks Fifth Avenue. Their home was on the cover of "Great Adaptations," a book about unusual renovations around the world. They have been listed twice in House+Gardens blackbook of best artisans.
